Let’s Talk Email

Does your company look to create engaging, dynamic emails that are consistent with your branding?

How regularly are customers and potential customers receiving your emails and what kind of engagement do they actually drive?

At MCo Media, we have carefully developed a system to solve these issues that companies commonly face.

We use programs to schedule out emails weeks in advance, selecting particular mailing lists to send them to, times and dates to send them at, and making sure the formatting will appear how we want it to on both desktop and mobile view.

Each email we send links out to our clients websites, products, or blogs, driving traffic to these locations, boosting engagement.

Any action the user takes in relation to emails we send, will trigger an email flow. For example, if a potential new customer browses our client’s website through the link attached to an email and leaves behind something they’ve added to cart, they will receive an abandoned cart email, prompting them to follow through with a purchase.

These programs make it simple to produce content frequently and effectively, allowing us to track the performance of each message and replicate when they perform well.

But none of this matters if the content of the emails doesn’t catch the eye of the consumer.

Banner blindness is the phenomenon that defines a person’s ability to consciously or unconsciously overlook branding, advertisements, or pop-up messages that are found on websites or in their inboxes.

If someone is subscribed to your mailing list and receives a similar-looking message from your company all week, they will grow to ignore it. They’ll view it as just another email to delete.

The creative team at MCo has designed a way to fight banner blindness, to ensure your emails and messaging reaches its audience and hopefully, makes an impact.

For each client, we have designed several differing templates from which we create each email. We update these templates quarterly, so our recipients don’t have much time to develop banner blindness to the brand. Of course there will be similar copy to abide by month-to-month, but our templates are very adaptable to whatever message you need to convey.

We’ve designed the templates to typically be split into three modular sections. The top part always incorporates the subject header and typically, an immediate call to action – a clickable button encouraging the user to go directly to your product page or blog post or whatever it is we are promoting.

The middle section includes a succinct description or a bolded code to use during a sale, maybe even another call to action.

The third section is usually optional, depending on the copy and the desired length of the email, and includes a concluding message and another call to action.

The reason for so many buttons or underlining words to become clickable is to ensure the recipient knows there is a reason for this email and that what they are reading about is accessible with just one click. Incorporating ways to easily link a potential customer to your store are vital to boosting site-traffic and conversions.

All of our emails include high quality photography of products, some hand-drawn elements if desired, and our clients branding to showcase what they have to offer.
